Dipex Milestones

·         1986: DIPEX started at Sangli, Maharashtra as an event for Diploma engineering student s

Structure

All projects are branched in total 14 sections depending upon student’s branch or application of the project.

· DIPEX is divided in 11 sections. A separate section for Agriculture colleges & Non-conventional Energy.

· SHODH section is combination of all types of projects based on innovations.

· Srijan section specifically dedicated for engineering students and divided in two sections.

Examination

· Exhibition-cum-competition, so all projects needs to be going through an examination round. One day is reserved for examination of all these projects.

Prizes

· Two prizes will be awarded in each section based on evaluation done by examination panel.

· A separate prize for Girls students.

· Outstanding Project Award by MSBTE.

· General Championship Trophy Award for college for best participation

Objective Of Dipex

Identifying a real life problem faced by country and applying technical inputs to solve them.
Increasing 'problem solving capabilities' of engineering students
Promoting creativity & total innovativeness among students
Developing manufacturing skills, zero defects concepts in making their projects
Creating awareness about commercial applicability and feasibility of the working models
To cultivate respect to work culture, promoting indigenous technology and ultimately developing ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Compitition Trio

DIPEX: State level exhibition cum competition of working models prepared by the students of polytechnics.
SHODH: A competition emphasizing on innovation, is open to the students of polytechnics, engineering and post graduate courses in science faculty.

· Srijan: is a similar competition for degree and post graduate engineering students. We welcome students of degree and post graduate course to prepare working models for Srijan under DIPEX. Competition exclusively for “Working Models” for ALL engineering disciplines.

Introduction

DIPEX is a state level exhibition cum competition of the working models prepared by the polytechnic students, started in the year 1986.

It is an effort to give exposure to the creativity of the students. It's the only platform available where the students get an opportunity to interact with renowned industrialists, academicians and all the cross sections of the society.
